            International Standards Oganization 9000. Develope to have a standard quality system, It compsed of different Quality system depending on the nature of the services rendered by a company.

QS 9000

            Quality System Requirements 9000, Developed by the Chrysler/Ford/Genertal Motors Supplier Quality Requirements Task Force  which was presented in September 19994 based on:

• Chrysler's Supplier Quality Assurance Model
• Ford's Q-101 Quality system
• Gm's North American Operation's (NAO) Targets for Excellence.

            The standard is composed of 2 sections:
 

• ISO 9000 plus automotive industry interpretaions (138 v 244 "shalls")
• Customer- specific requirements.

            Goals of the standards
 

• To develop a fundamental Quality System that provides for, continious improvements, Defect prevention and reduction of waste in the supply chain.
• To harmonize approach among the three automakers in their supplier quality requirements at the same time maintaining unique requirements.
