TEPC Quality System goes
ON   LINE

It's has been a difficult year for Technol Eight Philippines Corporation as the quality systems fails to focus on customer satisfactions last year, 1999. In conjunction with this problem, The management of TEPC decided to improve the quality systems through the implementation of the ISO 9002/QS 9000 Quality systems.

As the quality system was implemented last January 17, 2000, the percent rejects as of April 17, 2 months later, down by 20% compares to the last year. Productivity increase by 10% through the implementation of the "Pull system" or "Kanban system". We also improved our realations to customers by providing a Customers Satisfaction Measurement System to be able to determine the reliabiliy and consistency of our product, improved our relation to suppliers by providing efficient plans and development programs. 

Furthermore, the QS 9000 quality systems had contributed a great effort to our quality systems. Indeed, we are not stopping to pursue our vision and goals, to be The No. 1 stamping plant in Asia through the use of the Continual Process Improvement thru Kaizen, Benchmarking and reengineering.
 

 

Quality Control Department launches its new on line QC Set-up.

           A break through in the operating systems and quality was unveiled in the launching of  "On line QC"- Quality Control systems last February 2000 at the conference of Technol Eight Philippines Corporation. 
          Mr. Rocky Serdeña, Supervisor of the Quality Assurance Department ledthe pack of Quality Inspector to introduce the new system of quality checking in line. 
        The Set-up comprises with the introduction of the SME checking," Start Middle End" to validate the product and the team member if their work standards complies with the requirements. It is called the sytem of "validating the validated product"
         The concept is to monitor the quality of product during production run, so that when a defect product found, it will not pass thru the next process, thus eliminating waste of time, also to validate the product not only once but twice. 
          As the result of the system, we are able to minimize the defect occured during the next process and reducing time of reworks and repair.
